It was a thrill to be a part of this long-awaited adaptation of DC's iconic character. My brother Benton and I helped director Patty Jenkins pitch for her version of the character to Warner Brothers with a series of initial pitch boards. She got the gig and when the film went into actual preproduction I was hired to do production storyboards. Included here are some of my storyboards for a planned arena fight, as well as some of my other storyboards presented in animatic form. The scenes presented here are from very early in the production and the final movie changed quite a bit since then. Doing storyboards often means playing with ideas that eventually don't make the final cut. It's experimentation and exploration, which in its own way contributes to the final version of the film.
