Chucky creator Don Mancini returned to the director's chair for this sequel/reboot of the franchise. As a fan of horror films, I was thrilled to get the call. Mancini said he wanted the series to go back to it's horror roots, but still have the kind of grim humor that was the series' trademark. I tried to bring that into these storyboard scenes--some of which can be seen the DVD's special features.
