This project was proposed as a "Special Edition of Weird Al's "The Saga Begins" music video. Aside from the storyboards I drew, I also designed a few characters. One of the gags depicted a group of aliens with doglike features sitting around a table playing a game of cards. I designed this vaguely pug-like alien for the gag, and though the prop alien was built for the scene, the project was never finished. Interestingly, the prop did end up in a Hong Kong movie called "Sausalito" (starring Maggie Cheung). One of the stars played a Hong Kong entrepreneur in Sausalito who happens to have a lot of odd junk in his office. At one point in the movie, the entrepreneur (played by Leon Lai) in an improvised moment, picks up the alien head and talks to it in a bit of a Hamlet homage.
